1. Enquiries are not confirmed bookings

Submitting a form, sending a message, or receiving an estimate does not confirm a booking or reserve a date, time, or artist. A booking is confirmed only when SMYLI provides written confirmation and the relevant event terms have been agreed. Website descriptions and initial estimates are general information until the event’s scope and arrangements are confirmed in writing. If you are unsure whether your event is confirmed, please contact SMYLI rather than relying on a form submission or an initial conversation.

2. Your written event agreement

Event-specific services, rates, payment timing, deposits, cancellation, rescheduling, and any related obligations are only as stated in the separate written agreement for your event. These website terms do not create a deposit requirement, cancellation fee, refund policy, or rescheduling entitlement. Review the event agreement and ask questions before agreeing to it. If an express written booking agreement addresses an event matter differently, that agreement governs that matter, subject to applicable law. These terms do not replace it.

The Face Painting Agreement is available on our event contract page. Downloading it does not confirm a booking, and a later document update does not automatically change an existing booking agreement.

3. Accurate event details

Enquiries should be made by an adult or an authorized event organizer able to discuss the event arrangements. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and event details, including the date, location, timing, and requested services, and for communicating relevant changes. If you are arranging an event for someone else, make sure you have authority to do so.

4. Participants and supervision

Face painting is an entertainment service, not childcare. Parents, caregivers, or other responsible adults remain responsible for supervising children during the event, including while they wait or receive face painting. Participation is voluntary, and a participant may decline. Please discuss questions about participation or relevant individual concerns with SMYLI before the event. Website descriptions are not medical advice or a guarantee that a service is suitable for every individual.

5. Responsible website use

Use the website lawfully and provide genuine enquiries. Do not submit fraudulent information, impersonate another person, send malicious material, or attempt unauthorized access. Except where permitted by law, do not use automated tools to abuse the website, overwhelm its forms, interfere with its operation, or bypass security measures. These terms do not restrict legitimate accessibility tools or uses protected by applicable law.

6. Website content and intellectual property

Branding, text, photographs, illustrations, and other website material may be owned by SMYLI or used under permission or license from their respective rights holders. Display on this website does not transfer ownership or grant a general license to reuse that material. You may view the website and refer to its information for an enquiry. For other reuse, request permission from the appropriate rights holder unless applicable law permits it.

7. Information you submit

Contact and event details submitted through the enquiry form are used to respond to your enquiry and coordinate the requested event arrangements. Please provide only information relevant to that purpose; avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information. Contact SMYLI if submitted details need correcting or if you have questions about how your enquiry information is used. This brief explanation is not a comprehensive privacy policy.

8. Information and availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep website information useful and accurate, but information may need updating and the website may occasionally be unavailable. General descriptions, example designs, and photographs do not promise a particular result, artist, or availability for a specific date. Please confirm important details directly with SMYLI and rely on the written arrangements for your event.

9. Applicable law and your rights

These website terms are governed by applicable Texas law, subject to any mandatory law that applies. Nothing here excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, waives claims for personal injury, or removes nonwaivable statutory or consumer rights. These terms do not require arbitration or designate an exclusive court. Rights and obligations under an event agreement remain subject to that agreement and applicable law.

10. Updates and questions
